Overview

This client is a regional funding collaborative working to address poverty, economic mobility, and essential needs in local communities. 

Persimmon Consulting was brought on to revise grantmaking materials and be a thought partner in weighing programmatic and strategic opportunities for an upcoming grant cycle. Kirsten provided feedback, analysis, and due diligence to inform staff’s final recommendations, reviewed over 60 grant proposals, and refined assessment tools. The resulting grant cycle awarded $2.5 million across rural and urban areas of the 10-county region, supporting organizations that center the voices and leadership of those most impacted by the challenges they are working to address.
